Job codes are the short reference codes that this employer uses when they place a job advertisement in a newspaper or refer to it in some other advertising where a link to the job cannot be provided (e.g. an advertisement on the radio).

The job code helps you go straight to a specific job, however, if you don't have a job code you can still search for the job by using the search feature. You will need to go to the current vacancies section of the careers site, then use the keyword search feature to locate the role you are wishing to apply for. Try using either the job title or the name of the location the role is listed under in order to locate it on the careers site.

If the keywords you are using to search for the job are not bringing up any results, then your search may be too specific, so try using a different combination of keywords that are more generalised for the role you are looking for.

As some of the jobs listed may only be accessible to a certain audience (eg for current employees only) the role you are searching for may not be visible to you if you do not have the right permission. When searching for internal-only roles and you are an internal candidate, then you will need to ensure that you are logged into your profile first, before searching for the role, otherwise, the system will not recognise you as an internal employee so you may have difficulty in locating the job on the careers site.

If you are still having issues locating the role that you are interested in, we would recommend that you get in contact with the recruitment team of the organisation you wish to apply to. Their contact details can be found on the careers page.
